Site Analysis & Design Response

Site Analysis & Design Response establishes an understanding of the context for Project 1B and 1C. In assigned tutorial groups, students will conduct site visits to identify the physical as well as the intangible qualities that shape the character of the site. Engagement with site users will establish the needs of the community at the site. As the Design Response of the Site Analysis stage, students will work with their tutorial group to draw up a new plan for the demarcated site area through the design of a Neighbourhood Park Plan, which will serve as the base for Project 1C: Neighbourhood Learning Centre.

Linking Park

This pdf showcase everything we went through to come up with the final product, our first project for semester 3.

REFLECTION

This was an especially hard assignment for us because we were given a tough topic - rethinking and replanning the USJ 14 park. It is not an easy task as it houses the USJ14 kebun community, and to replan and restructure the garden while simultaneously taking care of the community is not an easy task. All of us put on our A game to make sure it will turn out well. Luckily, all of us work well together. Each of us took a part we were confident in, either in the slides arrangement, revit model making, or presentation board or even physical model making. I was incharge of the presentation slides and presentation itself. This really shows that I have fulfilled thinking and problem solving skillslifelong learning and intrapersonal skills.
