Semester 03

April 2023.

Modules:

- Architectural design 03

-Computer Application

- Energy and Architecture

-Visual Communication

STUDY PLATFORMS

MyTimes - Used to get course documents, lecture slides, and most importantly to submit pdf documentations and tutorial homeworks. Still prefer offline submission for manual drawings as its hard to scan large scale drawings. Also has a lot of bugs on some submissions, and is harder to use compared to the last version - Taylor Times.

Taylor mobile app - Only use this for attendance marking and showing digital student ID. Not much complaints except that 1 of my attendance was not taken.

Whatsapp - Used this for quick communication in group works. Very efficient and can get information instantly, compared to Facebook which I rarely used.

Architectural Design 03

The module emphasizes on ‘experiencing space and place’ in architecture. In the subject, students are introduced to, firstly, an exploration of spatial typologies and poetics in architecture; and secondly, the concept of neighborhood and community.
