Tropical Sanctuary
For my final project, I was tasked with further exploring and integrating the design idea and construction method from the previous assignment into a more complex program. I had to define a proposition for a small freestanding structure in relation to the natural landscape. The emphasis was placed on interpreting and synthesizing the user, site, and function in architectural design. The design of this structure had to showcase my application of architectural objectives and principles, materiality, constructability, and the context in order to create a memorable spatial experience for the user.

REFLECTION
Throughout this project, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and profound learning. It taught me the delicate balance between softness and strength, as embodied by the interplay of sculptural edges. I embraced the concept of elevated living, realizing that architecture has the power to create thrilling adventures outside the boundaries of the ordinary. I delved into the principles of steel structures and the importance of ventilation for comfort and well-being. But beyond technical knowledge, this project taught me the transformative nature of design and its ability to shape experiences, foster intimacy, and inspire personal growth. It ignited a passion within me to continue exploring the intersection of love, art, and architecture, seeking to create spaces that evoke emotions and celebrate the human spirit. This experience truly demonstrates the fulfillment of my thinking and problem-solving skills, lifelong learning, and intrapersonal abilities.
