FINAL
REFLECTION
From this assignment I learnt the basic design principles and how to integrate them into our designs. This is the first project of the semester so everyone was lost and confused. It didn't help that the lecturers and tutors each have different opinions and never gave solid advices. Every students was lost and fumbling, especially me. The stress was really overwhelming during the 4 weeks as it was a whole new start and it feels like everything I learnt from my pre-u studies was out the window. But after some inner adjustment and making a easy-to-follow schedule, I slowly but surely got back on track. I use my spare time to ask opinions from my friends and try to focus on what I wanted to showcase. As a new student, I focus solely on my tutor's opinions instead of hearing every tutor's as they all had different grading schemes and focus which did nothing to help me except making it all more overwhelming. My narrative for this assignment was Butterfly effect, but the way I integrate it into my design made it very superficial and I learnt to use deeper meanings and understanding for my new projects. This really shows that I have fulfilled thinking and problem solving skills, lifelong learning and intrapersonal skills.
